Who is suitable?
DETECT will assess any person aged between 18yrs and 65yrs, who is referred by the community mental health teams of its catchment area. Community mental health teams accept referrals from GPs, primary care and accident and emergency departments. Please refer cases of suspected psychosis to these teams in the normal fashion.
